In this wedding, the newlyweds were opting for a rustic dessert table, the new trend in desserts, skipping from only one traditional tiered cake.
As the dessert is one of the sweetest moments at any wedding, I explain here why the dessert tables is a trend. Just one wedding cake can be incredibly expensive and incredibly limited, as they offer just one flavour for what can sometimes be lots of guests with different tastes. If a great uncle is allergic to chocolate cake or the nephews are not a fan of raspberry jam filling, they're out of luck when it comes to satisfying their sweet tooth.
In this wedding dessert table, you can see a smaller tiered cake along with the scrumptious dessert table, as to satisfy the newlyweds who didn't want to lose the cake - cutting traditional moment.
Atelier de Tartas catered this wedding with vainilla cupcakes, mango macarons, raspberry tartlets with passion fruit cream, mini carrot cupcakes, chocolate cake, semi naked white chocolate cake with lemon ganache filling and red velvet cakepops, mean everyone can find something they like and taste once the dancing and celebration are underway.
